Sexually transmitted diseases

Currently, there are more than 20 sexually transmitted diseases. Among the most common are human papillomavirus infection, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV/AIDS, trichomoniasis, and others. These infections are transmitted through the exchange of fluids generated during sexual intercourse, whether anal, oral, or vaginal.

These secretions will generate different cellular reactions in the patient, resulting in different presentations of symptoms, which is why each disease manifests itself differently. Diagnosis requires a complete history, including the incubation or exposure time, and a physical examination. In some cases, laboratory tests, urethral or vaginal swabs, etc., will be required to confirm the diagnosis. Based on this, a specific, targeted treatment will be prescribed.

If you experience any of the following symptoms, we recommend that you make an appointment with a specialist:

-Pain or burning when urinating

-White, yellow or bloody urethral discharge

-Injuries or bumps on the genitals or in the mouth or anus.

-Sores or ulcers on the genitals, mouth or anus.

- Vaginal bleeding

-Foul-smelling vaginal discharge

-Abdominal pain

- Inguinal injuries

-Itching in the genitals

- Diarrhea

-Weight loss

-Rashes on hands, feet, trunk.

We have the experience, resources, and technology to treat this disease. If you experience any of these symptoms, we invite you to schedule an appointment so we can provide a comprehensive approach and treatment.
